In the Fall of 2008 we invited some friends to dinner and headed to the Marina. Afterwards we had planned to watch a movie that was produced in Vallarta, called, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" that our friends said was one of the cutest movies they had ever seen. Thom and Barbara own a condo above us in El Tigre and have a home in California! How could we doubt them!
After we finished a delicious meal on the Marina we walked talking and looking at all the beautiful boats and yachts. A dog breeder named Daniel was walking 2 Chihuahuas and the littlest one ran up to me and practially jumped in my arms. He weighed less than a pound and he made me feel like I had just won the lottery!!
My husband, not knowing how lucky I felt...proceeded to say, "oh my, you have that look in your eyes" and of course we took him home that night and he watched the movie with us.
Chico is now 3.5 lbs., adorable as ever and I am the luckiest person in the world to have found another love of my life.
