Living Condition
Although they are sprinters, they can be layback most of the time. They would prefer a yard so that they will have chance to run around but they are doing well in an apartment as long as they have daily runs outside and are house trained properly (See: House Training a Puppy Guide). Put on a sweater on your hound during a chill weather as he is sensitive to cold.

Exercise
Greyhounds are nature-born athlete, so they need regular exercise. If there is an open space near your house, you can give them freedom to run around but you need to make sure they will listen to your command then you want them back. If there is no open space that allows your dog to run, a 45 minutes daily walk should be enough to keep them fit.

Shedding
These dogs are smooth-coated and they do not shed much as well. So it is easy to groom this breed.
