Since Siberian Husky dog breed is originating from cold climate in Siberia, they are special dogs that have a thick double coat.

Huskies were initially known as sled dogs or working dogs that aided Eskimo in their daily lives as transportation. They were chosen because of their endurance and willingness to work.
Huskies have the charming looks that are wolf-alike. But, they are as tame as normal dog. Besides, they are outgoing and gentle to family members. These reasons are enough to make Husky one of the most wanted dogs in any families.
It is relatively easy to keep Husky as family pet. But still, you need to bring them out for exercise. You also need to brush their coat weekly so that they are clean and healthy.

Husky vs Human
Husky is also known as Sibe or Husky. This dog has unique look that you would not mistaken him for other dog breeds. They have think double coat with white, black and brown as common colors.
History and Origins
Siberian Husky is descended from the original sled dog. The Husky is believed to have originated in Eastern Siberian. Around 1908, these dogs were imported into Alaska during the Gold rush as sled dog.
It was slowly introduced into United States and Canada before they becomes family dogs.
Group
Sibersian Husky, same with Japanese Akita Dog Breed and Pit Bull Dog Breed, is recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and The Kennel Club (UK) under Working Group.
Living Condition
If you were to get this dog as pet, you should know that these dogs do better in a landed house with a yard. However, if you give them enough daily exercise and proper training, living in an apartment should not be a problem. Huskies prefer to live in cold climates. If you are living in a warm area, do not be surprised that their fur will not grow as think as you might expect initially.
Exercise
Husky needs to exercise as he is an active dog. You can take him out for 45 minutes of walking daily to maintain his body strength.
You may try to give your Siberian Husky training after exercise. You may notice that he learns better compare with normal training session without exercise.
Shedding
Husky will shed heavily twice yearly. So, please recognize the months that your dog will shed and be prepared for it.

General Appearance
Husky’s eyes are almond shaped and may be in brown or blue color. They have medium length neck and deep and strong chest. They have well furred tails that are long, straight and could reach the ground.
Coat and Color
Coat is double, thick and in medium length. Common colors are black, white, brown and mix of these 3 colors.

Height: 20.0 - 23.5 inches (50.8 - 59.7 cm)
Weight: 35.0 - 60.0 pounds (15.9 - 27.2 kg)
Average Life Span
12 - 15 years

Characteristics/Temperaments and Energy level
Siberian Husky is friendly and gentle which makes them great family pets. They are also alert and outgoing but are not good guard dogs. They are intelligent and have the eager to work character.
They can playful and sociable too. They are able to social with people, children, other dog and even other pet.
To have a well-balanced husky at your home, Siberian Husky Training should be included in your schedule, especially puppy obedience training and house training your husky puppy.

Siberian Husky is a willing to work dog. If you always take your Husky for exercise, your husky will develop muscular body and have a more focused mind. This will definitely make your Siberian Husky training becomes easy.
What you need now is your dog training ability. You need to have the proper training skills that will communicate clearly with your dog on what you want him to do. Of course, positive and reward-based training method should be used, instead of punishment.
After you are able to build mutual trust with your husky, successfully trained your husky is just a matter of time. Remember to be consistent and be patient in the training.
